Today people value things such as love and family and even success. In this novel, they tend to value industry. The morals and aspirations of the society are not those of our society today. They are very different. "We condition the masses to hate the country," concluded Huxley. They condition the people to love all sports (country). In Brave New World, they are conditioned to not see people as individuals but society as a whole.
